Frank Robert Faranda of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, and Island Harbour, Anguilla, passed away at age 65 on October 13, 2008 on Anguilla. Anguillian Born Miss Afranka L. Richardson, daughter of Tracy Richardson of West End, has successfully completed a certificate course in Dental Nursing at Barts and the London, Queen Mary’s University of Medicine and Dentistry in London, United Kingdom.

The passing of Teacher Art Egel has left an aching void in his immediate family and in his extended family which comprised all the people of Anguilla whom he had come to love, admire and serve.

After a valiant and courageous struggle, our beloved Teacher Art Egel passed away on Tuesday, June 10 at 7:45 pm in Puerto Rico. Art and his wife Marian have resided in Anguilla for at least 15 years in South Hill. He was a giant of a man both in stature and in personality and was one of the most loved figures in Anguilla.

The Bible teaches that we are from a royal priesthood so that qualifies us as royalty. I claim royalty so when my life seemed to be in trouble I said to myself Ok this is a test of my faith and by Gods’ help, I will be victorious over this test for his queen.
Little did I know how serious this trouble in my life would turn out to be. It all started with a feeling of being very tired all week and no matter what I tried I was just tired. All during the week I could not wait until Friday to rest on Sabbath.
